Fire-grilled chicken restaurant chain El Pollo Loco is setting itself apart as the first national restaurant company to test door-to-backyard drone delivery with its new Air Loco Drone Delivery service.
The pilot program is launching with Tel Aviv-based drone startup Flytrex, which manufactures and operates automated drones. These drones operate at 32 mph, without the interference of traffic, and they use a wire mechanism to slowly lower food from high up in the air.
